Ashley was raised in Walnut Creek. After graduating from UC Berkeley, she lived in Europe for 2 years, travelling and gathering inspiration from cities which still inspire her most today: Rome, Nice, Prague, London and the famed Italian countryside.  She returned to the East Bay Area, where she found a renewed appreciation for classic California style.

Ashley worked for Pottery Barn for 2 years before working under a prominent stager/designer, who she later built a partnership with and continues to collaborate with on certain projects.  She launched Ashley Provost Design in 2010, her fifth year in the staging industry, with a laptop, a small storage space and a vision of a boutique company which would embrace friendly, easy service while maximizing the sale of clients’ most important investment of their lives, their homes.
